Carole P. Roman’s If You Were Me and Lived in…Scotland

I received this book courtesy of Mrs. Roman for the purpose of a fair and honest review.

Overview: Mrs. Roman is taking us to the land of kilts, bagpipes, and Nessie this time around.

Likes: Other than the fact that the basics remained the same, I appreciated the fact that Mrs. Roman didn’t belittle any belief in Nessie. That can be a hot button topic, and she handled it nicely.

Dislikes: I could have lived without the knowledge of what ‘haggis’ consists of. There are just some things that are best to be ignorant about.

Favorite Quote: “If you are strong enough, you might try out in an event like the caber (cab-er) toss.”

Conclusion: It’s a good read. Enjoy the vacation with your child.
