Dean Koontz’s Nightmare Journey

This book was rather hard for me to read.

We follow two people, Jask and Tedesco, on a search for “The Black Presence” in a futuristic Earth. Both are psychic, but one looks like a bear, and the other as a human, relying more on his “pure” genes.

The book is a hard science-fiction. This was the first book I’ve read of the sort, and can say I did not like it. Sorry Mr. Koontz, but I was confused at many points. Maybe it was just the story, but I think I’ll avoid hard sci-fi in the future.
