I think I just need the happiness that is inspired by Dean Koontz.
This time we meet up with Holly Thorne, a disillusioned reporter who meets the most remarkable man. Jim Ironside, a man who gets told by something or someone, who is about to die, giving him just enough time to save their life. Her fascination with him leads her to first stalk, then join him, sending them both on a journey to find the answers to who or what has sent Jim on his missions of salvation.
While the story was a thrilling ride, in my opinion, it all came together via the best character of the whole book. Jim’s Grandfather has the grace to put the story together and the years of experience that makes it hit the hardest.
