Greg Sigley’s Victim

I received this book for the purposes of a fair and honest review.

Sheriff Languis has a problem in his small town. A young lady is found buried in a field. Now the police department needs to find out who killed her and why. Preferably before the killer strikes again.

This story was written powerfully, up until the last few chapters. You could feel for the victim’s family from when they get the notification. The sheriff, Tom, seemed to be pulled in deeper than he would prefer.

It was the killer’s stated motives that nearly ruined the story for me. The motives didn’t seem to match with the crimes.

If you want my opinion, stop reading the story at the 15th chapter, after the killer is discovered. At that point, the story is still good.
